I thought the point for saving for uni was that you wouldn't starve. So why would you starve yourself now?

Yep student loans (which I dont know if I have applied for properly)
Maintainance grat which i dont have to pay back (which I also dont know if I have applied for)
and bursary from the uni which I dont have to pay back (or apply for )

It is very stupid.. When you get a job? Think about interest and how you gonna live if you're paying it back? It's just so stupid. But i guess you don't have much other choice.

yep and you dont have to pay it until you earn over £15,000 a year, but it does accumulate interest, but the interest right now is 0% so unless that goes up it stays the same Smile

Or you could move out of the country

My sister has student loans and thery're not like other loans. You only pay back what you can according to your income. Like £3-£30 a month or something like that.

£15,000 a year that is'nt alot. I mean thats like £1,250 a month and with that you gotta pay for bills. And you've got no chance of the interest rate staying at %0. Lol at or die. Smile

Ja but that's the minimum, so you only pay back what you can afford you see?
And with qualifications you can get a decent job so is likely you will earn more and be able to afford to pay back

We also got told a story of someone with outstanding uni debts they moved to Australia and they got written off
